About Me

Michigan

My name in Michelle Matusinski. I grew up in Michigan and I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology and Polish.

California

After graduation, I moved to California and I worked at Stanford University in a Student Services Administration role. During my time there, I realized that I wanted to go back to school to get my Master’s degree in a health-focused area.

North Carolina

In August 2018, I started my Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. I graduated a semester early in December 2019. I am really interested in maternal and child nutrition and I am currently working as a Research Assistant at the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. In the future, I hope to apply to an RD program so that I can work with families and help them meet their nutrition needs.
